One of the first stuffed toys I ever made, was an orca / killer whale for my little boy, I think maybe ten years ago. Despite being well loved, that one was a wonky, weirdly shaped orca (we still love him though). A year ago, I decided to go back to my original orca design and make some improvements, with the goal of creating an orca soft toy sewing pattern. Twelve months and eight prototypes later, I now have an orca sewing pattern that I am delighted to share with you! With step-by-step photos, full-sized templates and detailed instructions, this project is ideal for sewers who have some machine and hand-sewing sewing experience. It includes a simple option for beginner sewers, and a tricker option for those with a bit more sewing experience.
Let me know how you go with this one. I love seeing the creations that you make using my patterns. The orca sewing pattern is available to download via my online store.
