 Lovely rainy afternoon here in my workroom, stitching tiny things.
I haven't shared any of my textile work here for a little while but rest assured, I'm still at it. I started the year a bit lacking in motivation, inspiration and confidence... so I've been occupying myself with other things, hoping it would all come back... and it has! Phew. New dolls coming soon... then lots of creatures.

I know how that feeling is when nothing seems to transpire from brain to hand to project! Maybe it's the time of year...waiting for new growth inside and out. I've been trying experiments but so far nothing has been 'the one'. But they are all part of the creative process and end up fuelling the drive to make. You're absolutely right Kerry. It is all part of it. You can't have the successes without the 'failures' it seems. The beginning of the year always has me pondering what this thing is that I do anyway, how is it worthy and how can I make it bigger and better this year... all very overwhelming questions. I decided to not overthink and just get on with it, and enjoy it :) Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
