I've finally made myself a doll to keep. I think I'll call her Fern. Sometimes I feel sad letting go of something I've put so much of myself into - so I've decided to hold on to this one. I've painted a moody forest inside an old drawer, like a diorama - I'll keep her there.

She's so lovely. Like all your dolls. It's not how the dolls are made. It's how they make me feel when I look at them. There's magic in the composition and it talks to my soul.

Soft and exquisite. I love your work and appreciate the quiet spirit that surrounds all you do and say. And you are a gifted artist -- the drawer painting is wonderful. Have a lovely season of making and thinking. Is this winter for you?
